Great Western LEGO Show

For those of you who don’t know what The Great Western LEGO Show is, It is an event where LEGO fans come to exhibit their MOC’s and admire others. There are so many outstanding MOC’s on display and competitons for all that attend, with LEGO building tables and a cafe to keep you and your family refreshed all day long. As well as book authors or contributors to the well known LEGO books such as the LEGO Play Book also in attendace, GWLS is certainly a big deal within the LEGO community!

This years GWLS was held over the past 2 days (Saturday 5/10/13 and Sunday 6/10/13) @ the Steam Museum in Swindon and was definately not a dissapointment! Unfortunately we were not able to make it this year but we are definately going to forward plan for next time. Although we didn’t make it we have been sent images from @nicksweetman over on twitter who was kind enough to share some of his photos with us. With an estimated 3700 people through the doors on Saturday alone this was a massive turn out, and just what such a great event should expect! With a variety of different Stalls available to purchase LEGO and gifts from there was certainly plenty to see and buy MOC’s and admire others. With Displays from the Brickish Association you are guaranteed an absolutely fantastic day. As you can see below the MOC’s that were on display were just outstandingly detailed and you can only imagine the amount of time each one must have taken to create!

If any body has any other photo’s from this weekends GWLS then please feel free to send the ones you want displaying to customerservice@legominifigurestore.co.uk and we will display them for you.

Below are just some of the photo’s provided by @nicksweetman who attended this year alongside thousands of others!
